MEGApleat – High Capacity, MERV 9
This is a synthetic media filter made with a beverage board frame. If you’re looking for a strong filter that can be in service for a relatively long time, then this is your guy. It is also constructed with a heavy-duty galvanized expanded metal support grid. No rust.
It comes in 1”, 2”, and 4” filter depths. Is not antimicrobial.

Durability: MEGApleat is made with thicker beverage board, as well as the thickest wire on the market. These two features greatly enhance its longevity.
The dirtier the situation the greater the likelihood that the MEGApleat is your best option. Whenever there is a lot of fine dust that is piling up and chewing through secondary filters, or where there’s a lot of construction going on, you’re going to want to choose a sturdy filter like the MEGApleat. Less sturdy filters may experience collapse due to the heavy loading. Think of it this way, MEGApleat serves itself best in very challenging applications.
VP-MERV8® SC – Standard Capacity
The VP-MERV8 SC pleated filter is a MERV 8 filter with low resistance to airflow. It does not rely on electrostatic charge to capture particulate, achieving a true mechanical MERV 8 rating. The VP-MERV8 SC filters are an upgrade to existing flat panels, as well as competitive MERV 6–7 pleated filters. Filters are available in 1″, 2″ and 4″ depths. VP-MERV8 SC filters are available in a wide range of sizes and will fit most commercial and industrial installations with little or no system modification.

The PREpleat M13 pleated filter has a low initial resistance and supports achievement of LEED credits by significantly improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and reducing energy consumption when upgrading from filters with lower MERV ratings and higher resistance levels.
The PREpleat M13 provides an initial efficiency of MERV 13 per ASHRAE Standard 52.2-2007 (80–85%) at a resistance of only .20″ w.g. (2″ depth) when operating at approach velocity of 375 FPM—only 0.30 at 500 FPM.

PREpleat® HT HC – Extended Surface MERV 8
AAF Flanders PREpleat HT HC filters are designed for increased air filtration efficiencies in an operating environment where temperatures reach 500°F. This includes air intakes for drying ovens or baked-on finishing applications.
The PREpleat HT pleated air filter consists of a MERV 8 fiberglass filtration media backed with a woven fiberglass scrim, then bonded to corrosion-resistant expanded metal backing. Each pleated media pack is encased within an aluminized steel 24-gauge frame with face screen to increase pack rigidity and prevent blowouts. This design allows for excellent performance even after repeated heating and cooling cycles to temperatures above 400°.
