Product Spotlight – Nederman NEX-HD Extraction Arms

Nederman offers the full gamut when it comes to fume & dust extraction arms, but for non-explosive applications the NEX-HD is the cream of the crop.

These extraction arms are ideal for heavy-duty welding applications, where high airflows are required, and where the arm may be exposed to higher temperatures than conventional applications. They’re also great for collecting non-explosive dust.

The NEX-HD arm is also available with a patented hood design should the application demand it. This patented aluminum hood is resistant to temperatures of 120⁰ Celsius.

These arms are also externally supported.

Typical applications include welding, laser plasma cutting, metal grinding, applications where lots of spatter is generated, and applications where a well supported and easily positioned arm is required. These arms can hold their position for the entire shift, allowing you to spend more time welding, and less time wrestling with the arm itself. Just place it in position and forget about it.

  •  the arm is suspended by a robust swivel that allows for 360 degrees of rotation
  • support mechanisms of the arm are encapsulated to protect against dirt and other debris
  • the NEX-HD extraction arms can be mounted with a variety of brackets, arm extensions, or utilized on exhaust rails
